Stone & Slate. Handmade in Kerry.

Each faerie house is made by hand from stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain, roofed in reclaimed Kerry slate, and weather-sealed to live happily in gardens around the world. No two are ever the same. Once they're gone, they're gone.

  • "If we were small enough, we would move in."

We drove the Ring of Kerry this summer and I could not wait to order one. I felt the magic as we travelled those narrow roads. Thank you for the honour of owning one of these treasures.

  • "Even nicer than I expected."

I bought it for my sister, who's been creating a little wildlife sanctuary in her garden — birds, deer, the occasional raccoon. She and my mother sit on the back deck and watch them every day. It's going to find a perfect home there.

  • "Not often that the product you order is actually better than what you expected."

The energy of our little faerie house is simply breathtaking — all the work and joy that has gone into making it is clearly evident. We truly love it and can't wait to find the perfect spot in our garden.

Made on a Magic Mountain in Kerry

We're Maitiu and Sophie, and we live at Graylodge in the Roughty Valley - off-grid, five acres, a forest at our back and mountains in every direction. We make the faerie houses together in our workshop, gathering stones from Mangerton, cutting reclaimed slate for the roofs, building each one by hand.

We're assisted in this by three cocker spaniels - Sammy, Molly and Nelly - who consider themselves expert faerie finders and take quality control very seriously. We consider their judgement final.

Every house leaves the mountain carrying a piece of Ireland with it.

Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not there...
