Pure white pebble, packed close and fine, makes up the walls of this one — and against it runs the most festive trim yet: a winding trail of holly-red and deep-green glass beads, climbing from the door all the way to a cluster of red and green at the peak, like a sprig of holly caught mid-bloom on the stone. The round windows are ringed entirely in red, bright as berries against the snow-white wall.
The door is hand-burned oak with a heart carved above the latch, and mossy branch posts stand at either side, soft green-grey against all that white.
Every stone was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry — this one chosen palest of all, so the red and green trim would have the cleanest possible canvas to sing against.
A house that looks ready for Christmas any day of the year — bold, cheerful, and unmistakably handmade.
White stone, red berries, green leaves — a little holiday magic, any season. ❄️🔴
