Mixed river stone in soft greys, browns, and creams makes up this one, with bright yellow glass beads ringing the windows and running down to the door in a cheerful, sunny trail. A warm amber stone sits above the door like a little lantern, and the roofline steps down on one side into a lower porch roof, giving the house a cosy, lived-in shape.
The door is hand-burned oak with a heart carved above the latch, and a mossy branch leans against the gable, soft with lichen.
The stone was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry — this mix chosen for its quiet, muted colours, letting that yellow trail do all the singing.
A warm, welcoming little house, the kind that looks like it’s always got a light on inside.
Gold trim, warm stone, and a door that’s always open. 🌼🏡
