There is a stillness to this one that feels almost sacred — a faerie house built from stone so pale it seems to hold its own soft light, even under grey Kerry skies. The walls are dressed in pure white pebble, hand-set stone by stone, and traced with glass beads in the deepest emerald green: round windows ringed in green, a doorway edged the same way, and at the very peak, a tiny shamrock worked in glass, three leaves catching whatever sun finds them.

The door is hand-carved oak, grain burned in by hand, with a small heart etched above the latch — the mark every Irish Faerie House carries, the sign that someone loves whoever lives inside. The roofline leans and sweeps the way the wind shapes things on the mountain, slate-grey and weathered, with little branch posts holding up the porch like old friends.

Every stone in this house was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, chosen and placed one piece at a time until the walls themselves became a kind of quiet poem. This is the whitest, gentlest house in the batch — the one that looks like it was built from moonlight and shamrocks rather than stone.

A faerie house for someone who loves Ireland in their bones — the green, the stone, the quiet. Fill it with light on a windowsill or let it stand in the garden where the real faeries might find it first.

A little piece of Kerry, waiting for someone small to come home to. 🍀🏡
