Winding gently across the front of Emerald Trail Cottage is a shimmering path of green stones, like a little faerie trail leading right to the front door. Some say it marks the secret route the fae use to find their way home after twilight wanderings across the mountain.

Handcrafted from stones gathered on the magical Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, Ireland, each tiny piece has been carefully placed to create this one-of-a-kind faerie dwelling. The soft green stones and pale river pebbles give the cottage a natural woodland feel, as though it has grown from the hillside itself.

Above the door sits a deep green guardian stone, watching quietly over the cottage and bringing luck to the faerie who lives within. The door, an original design by Sophie, is fully hinged to allow easy comings and goings for its tiny resident. The roof is made from reclaimed 100-year-old slate salvaged from an abandoned mountain house.

Cosy, safe and full of character, this cottage is perfectly suited to a faerie who enjoys quiet forest paths, hidden trails and the soft magic of the Irish mountains.
