Foxberry Faerie House has a wonderfully energetic, outward-reaching quality — varied river-worn stones in grey, cream, warm brown and olive fill the walls in a natural, close-packed patchwork, each one smoothed by water and different from its neighbour, and bold ruby red gems ring both round windows and sweep fully around the lower window and arched doorway in vivid, confident circles. Scattered bright yellow gems dot the upper gable — three or four, loosely placed, catching the sunlight with the easy cheerfulness of something that just happened to land there and stayed. Two mossy branch arms extend outward from both sides of the house, one reaching wide to the left, another curving out to the right, as though the house is simply stretching its arms on a fine morning and enjoying the view.

This is a home of the open hillside and the fine Kerry morning — belonging to a faerie who is always slightly in motion, who finds the high ground more interesting than the low, and whose home has the easy, outward-facing energy of a place that is always glad to be where it is.

Handcrafted from varied river-worn stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, each one individual and water-smoothed. The ruby gem rings, scattered yellow gable gems, dual reaching mossy bark branch arms, and reclaimed slate roof give Foxberry Faerie House its wonderfully lively, hillside-at-home character.

Sealed for outdoor display, Foxberry Faerie House is ready to find a spot with a little sky around it — on an open wall, in a garden with a view, or anywhere that suits something with genuine warmth and an outward-facing spirit.
