Garland Faerie House is decorated from top to bottom with the enthusiasm of a garden in full, unrestrained flower — warm honey and sandy stones fill the walls with a rich, glowing warmth, and soft lavender gems ring the upper window and lower side window and trace the doorway in a generous, continuous border, like ribbon wound around a garden arch. Down the front face, two flower mosaics bloom one above the other — each one in chartreuse yellow and fresh green with a small ruby red centre — as vivid and cheerful as a summer border at its most abundantly itself. Mossy bark branch arms reach in from either side, adding a wild, living frame to all that colour and warmth.

This is the most exuberantly decorated of homes — belonging to a faerie who considers restraint a rather overrated quality in a garden, who plants in drifts rather than ones, and whose home always looks as though it is in the middle of a party that started sometime in June and simply never stopped.

Handcrafted from warm honey and sandy stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, the walls carry the mountain's most golden, summer-full character. The lavender gem borders, twin flower mosaics, mossy reaching bark branch arms, and reclaimed slate roof give Garland Faerie House its wonderfully festive, garden-strung character.

Sealed for outdoor display, Garland Faerie House is ready to find the most flower-filled corner of any garden — beside cottage blooms, among climbing plants, or anywhere that already has the feeling of midsummer and doesn't want it to end.
