A rich mix of warm brown, amber, and tan stone forms this house, scattered through with the occasional dark pebble for depth. Turquoise glass beads ring the windows in bright, clear blue-green, and a small mother-of-pearl shell sits heart-shaped above the door — a little flash of the sea tucked into the mountain stone.
The door is hand-burned oak with its own heart carved above the latch, and the roofline rises to a confident, steady peak, slate-grey and weathered.
The stone was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, warm earth tones chosen to set off that turquoise like a vein of sea-glass running through the mountain itself.
A grounded, earthy little house with just enough sparkle to catch the eye on a shelf or garden wall.
Mountain stone, ocean colour — a little bit of everywhere, all in one small home. 🐚🏡
