The most richly mixed stone in the whole batch — browns, greys, creams, and pinks all tumbled together — with soft lilac and amethyst glass scattered generously through the windows and doorway, and right in the centre, a single iridescent shell catching every colour of the rainbow as the light moves across it.
The door is hand-burned oak with its heart above the latch, and a stout branch stands beside the house like an old friend keeping watch.
The stone was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry — a true mixed mosaic, chosen for variety rather than uniformity, so that opal shimmer would have plenty of good company.
A house for someone who loves a bit of everything — colour, texture, and one genuinely magical little shimmer at its heart.
A little piece of every colour, held together by stone. 🌈🏡
