A rich, varied mix of river stone β cream, grey, tan, and the occasional rose-pink pebble β makes up this house, with bright green glass beads tracing both windows and the doorway. A thick cushion of soft moss grows along one side, green and velvety, as if the house has been standing on the mountain for years rather than freshly made.
The door is hand-burned oak with a heart above the latch, and two sturdy branches rise from the roofline like little chimneys, giving the whole thing a wild, woodland feel.
The stone was gathered from Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, and that moss was given time and care to take hold and grow naturally into the piece.
An earthy, wild little house β the kind that looks like it grew out of the forest floor rather than being built.
A little house the forest already claimed as its own. πΏπ‘
