Shadowberry Faerie House is one of the most atmospheric in the collection — deep charcoal, blue-black and dark grey stones cover the walls with a close, almost brooding density, cool and ancient-feeling, as though the mountain itself pressed these stones together a very long time ago. Soft lavender gems ring the upper window and sweep around the lower side window and doorway in a gentle, wandering border — quiet and luminous against all that darkness, like the first pale light of a winter morning. On the wall between the floors, a small cluster of deep ruby red gems sits like a sprig of wild berries found in the darkest part of the hedge — vivid, unexpected, and perfectly at home. A smooth warm amber-red stone above the door glows like a coal that has never quite gone out.

This is a home of the deep woodland night — belonging to a faerie who knows the dark paths as well as the lit ones, who finds the berries by feel as much as sight, and whose home is all the more beautiful for the contrast between its dark stone and its small, bright details. Handcrafted from deep charcoal and dark grey stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, the walls carry the mountain's most elemental, night-time character. The soft lavender gem rings, ruby berry cluster, amber accent stone, dramatically reaching bark branch arms, and reclaimed slate roof give Shadowberry Faerie House its wonderfully dark, enchanted character.
