A quietly beautiful faerie home of many-coloured river stone, a single daisy, and the most varied walls in the collection

Specklemoss Faerie House has the most wonderfully varied stonework of any in the collection — river-worn pebbles in grey, cream, olive-green, rust, warm brown and deep charcoal fill every surface in a richly textured, naturally varied patchwork, each one different, as though gathered one by one from a particularly interesting stretch of mountain stream. Jet-black pebbles ring both round windows in loose, natural circles, their darkness making the varied wall stones glow all the warmer by contrast. At the gable peak, a crisp white daisy mosaic with a yellow centre sits like a single found flower — simple and exactly right. Beside the arched door, a warm amber-red stone and a small scatter of emerald green gems provide the one moment of deliberate colour in an otherwise deeply natural palette.

This is the most gathered and elemental of homes — belonging to a faerie who could spend an entire afternoon beside a mountain stream and return with pockets full of exactly the right stones, who finds variety itself a kind of beauty, and whose home is proof of that entirely.

Handcrafted from beautifully varied river-worn stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, no two pieces alike. The jet-black window rings, white daisy gable mosaic, amber and green accent details, reaching bark branch upright, and reclaimed slate roof give Specklemoss Faerie House its wonderfully natural, stream-gathered character.

Sealed for outdoor display, Specklemoss Faerie House is ready to settle somewhere natural and unhurried — beside a stone path, among established planting, or in any garden that appreciates the beauty of things found rather than chosen.

A home of many-coloured river stone, a single daisy, and the deep quiet magic of a place made entirely from things the mountain offered freely. 🌼🪨🌿✨
