Made with love for quiet places and gentle hearts
Stretching low along the ground like a home that has grown naturally from the hillside, Mossy Hollow Cottage feels as though it has always been part of the landscape. Its soft green tones and rounded stones give it a calm, settled presence — the kind of place a faerie might choose when seeking peace and quiet away from busy paths.
Handcrafted from stones gathered on the magical Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, Ireland, each tiny piece has been carefully placed to create this one-of-a-kind faerie dwelling. The mix of pale river stones and mossy greens gives the cottage a woodland feel, blending effortlessly into its surroundings as though it were shaped by the land itself.
Above the door rests a soft rose-coloured heart stone, bringing warmth and kindness to the faerie who lives within, while a smooth green stone sits quietly along the wall — said to carry the gentle energy of the earth. The door, an original design by Sophie, is fully hinged to allow easy comings and goings for its tiny resident. The roof is made from reclaimed 100-year-old slate salvaged from an abandoned mountain house.
Cosy, grounded and full of quiet charm, this cottage is perfectly suited to a faerie who prefers hidden corners, soft moss underfoot, and the peaceful magic of the Irish mountains.
And remember: when you are kind to the fae, they are always kind in return. 🍀✨
