'The Whitehaven' Faerie House

Bright and gentle in its appearance, The Whitehaven Faerie Cottage carries a calm, settled presence — like a place where everything is still, and time moves just a little more slowly.

Handcrafted from stones gathered on the magical Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, Ireland, each tiny piece has been carefully placed to create this one-of-a-kind faerie dwelling. The soft white stones, framed by darker accents around the windows and door, give the cottage a clean, timeless character, as though it has stood quietly on the hillside for many years.

Set into the stonework is a small heart, a quiet symbol of warmth and kindness, while above the door rests a deep purple guardian stone, believed to bring calm and protection to the faerie who lives within. The door, an original design by Sophie, is fully hinged to allow easy comings and goings for its tiny resident. The roof is made from reclaimed 100-year-old slate salvaged from an abandoned mountain house.

Peaceful, welcoming and full of quiet charm, this home is perfectly suited to a faerie who values stillness, soft light, and the gentle magic of a place to rest.
