Whitebloom Faerie House is one of the most beautifully composed in the collection — cool grey-green and silver-green stones fill the walls with a fresh, moorland quality, and from them two white daisy mosaics bloom down the front face, each with a bright yellow centre, one at the gable and one at the heart of the wall, as open and unguarded as meadow daisies on a clear morning. Vivid emerald green gems ring the upper window and sweep fully around the lower side window and the arched doorway, adding a vivid, living brightness that makes the cool stone sing. To the right, a magnificent gnarled and twisted bark column rises the full height of the house — ancient-looking, richly textured, entirely at home — while on the lower left, a mossy bark section and reaching branch extend in the opposite direction, giving the whole house the feeling of a dwelling held gently in the arms of old trees.

This is a home of the early morning and the open hillside — belonging to a faerie who is always up before the dew has gone, who finds white daisies on green the most quietly perfect thing in nature, and whose home reflects a love of the simple and the genuine.

Handcrafted from cool grey-green stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, the walls carry the mountain's freshest, most open-sky character. The twin daisy mosaics, emerald gem rings, magnificent gnarled bark column, mossy left-side branch, and reclaimed slate roof give Whitebloom Faerie House its wonderfully fresh, wild-garden character.
