A bold and wind-weathered faerie home with a roof that reaches like a wing and ruby rings that glow in any light
Wingslate Faerie House is unlike any other — its reclaimed slate roof extends dramatically to the left in a long, sweeping overhang, as though shaped by years of Kerry wind coming from one particular direction and simply leaning into it. Beneath that extraordinary roof, warm honey, cream and sandy stones fill the walls with a sunlit richness, and bold ruby red gems ring both round windows and sweep fully around the arched doorway in vivid, precise circles — bright and definite against all that pale warm stone, glowing like embers even in full daylight. A single smooth terracotta-red stone sits above the deeply grained dark wooden door, the one warm accent in a house that already knows exactly what it is doing.
This is a home of the exposed hillside and the prevailing wind — belonging to a faerie who chose the most dramatic spot available and built accordingly, who finds the long Kerry gusts invigorating rather than inconvenient, and whose roof tells the whole story of the weather it has faced and outlasted. Bold, characterful and entirely sure of itself.
Handcrafted from warm honey and cream stones gathered on Mangerton Mountain in County Kerry, the walls carry the golden warmth of the uplands. The ruby gem rings, terracotta accent stone, deeply grained dark door, and the magnificently sweeping extended reclaimed slate roof give Wingslate Faerie House its wonderfully dramatic, wind-shaped character.
Sealed for outdoor display, Wingslate Faerie House is ready to make its mark — on an open wall, in an exposed garden position, or anywhere that can handle something with real presence and a story already written into its roofline.
A home of warm stone, ruby rings, and the bold windswept magic of a place that has faced every Kerry gale and found each one entirely worth it. ❤️🌿🪨✨
